Code of Conduct & Safety Commitment
At Hawkesbury Driving School, your safety, comfort, and peace of mind are our absolute priorities. We are committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and secure learning environment for all students.
All of our driving instructors are fully licensed, hold valid Working with Children Checks (WWCC), and strictly adhere to the Driving Instructors Act 1992 and the Driving Instructors Regulation 2026.
Our Professional Standards
To ensure a premium and safe learning experience, our instructors pledge to:
- Maintain Professional Boundaries: Deliver clear, constructive instruction focused entirely on safe driving techniques.
- Prioritize Safety: Ensure the training vehicle is dual-controlled, clean, roadworthy, and regularly serviced.
- Foster Respect: Cultivate a patient, encouraging atmosphere completely free from discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate language.
- Uphold Professionalism: Arrive on time, remain fully attentive during lessons, and never use personal mobile devices while training is underway.
Student Rights & Feedback
We encourage open communication. As a student, you have the right to stop a lesson at any time if you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or disrespected.
If you have feedback regarding your experience or wish to discuss an instructor’s behaviour, please contact our management team directly on 0405 680 058. We take all internal feedback seriously and investigate matters immediately.
Regulatory Misconduct Reporting
We fully support the regulatory standards set by the NSW Government to protect learner drivers. If you witness or experience inappropriate behavior that breaches professional standards, you can report it directly to the state regulator.
To report misconduct by a driving instructor, call Transport for NSW on 131 500.
