Hawkesbury Driving School provides driving lessons in the Hawkesbury region of NSW. Our website address is https://hawkesburydrivingschool.com.au. You can contact us on 0405 680 058 (Monday to Friday 7am – 6pm, Saturday 9am – 4pm).

This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit our website, send us an enquiry or book driving lessons with us. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What information we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, mobile number, email address and suburb, whether you need an automatic or manual car, whether you hold an Australian Learner Licence or an overseas licence, whether your driving test is booked (and the date and time if it is), and any message you write.

If you contact us by phone, text or email, we may also keep a record of your contact details and the details of your enquiry or lessons so we can schedule and deliver them.

Many of our students are under 18. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian help you with the enquiry form.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to reply to your enquiry, assess your lesson needs, book and run your lessons and, where requested, arrange the use of our vehicle for your driving test. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal information with third parties except where it is needed to provide our services, where you have asked us to, or where we are required to by law (for example, to a regulator such as Transport for NSW). Our website is hosted and maintained by service providers who may process website data on our behalf.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored in your browser, to make the site work properly. Third-party content we embed on our pages (see below) may also set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not display correctly if you do.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong or out of date, or ask us to delete it. Where your data is sent

Enquiries submitted through our website may be checked by an automated spam detection service. Some of our website, email and hosting providers may store or process information on servers outside Australia.
